Be one of the first recipients of the SHOWROOM OF THE YEAR Awards, which will honor retailers in categories based on sales volume, with specialty awards recognizing outstanding achievements in key areas (merchandising display, employee education, community service).
Finalists will be featured in the May issue of Residential Lighting. The awards will be presented at the June 24 opening night reception during the summer 2010 Dallas International Lighting Market at the Dallas Market Center.
For retailers, this is an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of loyal staff and give your business some well-deserved industry recognition. For vendors and sales representatives, you are welcome to nominate an exceptional customer worthy of public praise.
Any lighting showroom with a brick-and-mortar retail location may enter or be nominated for the SHOWROOM OF THE YEAR Awards. Each entry or nomination must encompass a single store location, and only one entry per location will be accepted. Showrooms with multiple locations have the option of entering each location individually as a separate entry.
It is important to note that most of the entry questions require qualitative, open-ended responses. While it's fine to be concise, the more detailed and descriptive these responses, the clearer picture judges will have for each entrant's strengths.
Hurry - deadline for all entries is March 1, 2010.
