Elk Lighting announced the purchase of certain assets of Baldinger Architectural Lighting. Elk made the purchase through its sister corporation, Mount Summit Lighting, and the transaction was finalized on June 25.
As part of this development, product lines will be enhanced to provide greater overall choices for clients, while continuing the legacy of fine craftsmanship that has been the trademark of the company for over 100 years.
Elk has created an internal support structure specifically for this new division — including dedicated customer service personnel, designers, draftsmen and project coordinators — to ensure a smooth transition for its clients.
“A vital element is to preserve the quality and trend-setting designs that Baldinger clients have come to expect,” says Elk Lighting CEO Bradford Smith. “Additionally, we realize the need to earn the trust and respect of clients and we will work diligently to do so.”
The 117-year-old Baldinger has headquarters in Astoria, NY.
