  • Elco Lighting Launches New Web Site

    December 9, 2009

Elco Lighting, a recessed and track lighting manufacturer, has launched a new, state-of-the-art Web site.

The company’s marketing team spent months interviewing representatives, customers and end users in its efforts to design an efficient, user-friendly site.

“I know the Elco part numbers backwards and forwards,” says Rob Pool of CED Escondido. “I don’t need to look at the different lighting categories to find what I want. Elco has a drop-down search menu that takes me directly to the product I need, where I can get technical information and spec sheets with a press of a button.”

For customers who want categories, though, this option is available as well. Users may browse through the company’s easy-to-use headings, such as Recessed Lighting, Track Lighting, Undercabinet Lighting and Emergency Lighting, and find a number of subcategories to choose from. Each heading leads directly to product pages with technical information and downloadable spec sheets.

Aubrey Bradley Jr. of The Rae Co., says his company’s calls to the Elco factory have been cut in half since all the information became available online.

“We wanted something that represents our attitude toward lighting,” says Elco’s owner and CEO Steve Cohen. “Good lighting produces beautiful results, and we wanted to create a Web site that reflects that.”
